Kate Wilson studied painting at Winchester School of Art and the Royal Academy Schools.  She is a winner of the Royal Academy Gold Medal and the Bateson Mason Drawing Award and received an Andre de Segonzac scholarship to study in Italy after graduating.

She is programme manager for painting, drawing and art history at Morley College
