Kate Wilson

PAINTING AND DRAWING

Kate Wilson studied painting at Winchester School of Art and the Royal Academy Schools.  She is a winner of the Royal Academy Gold Medal and the Bateson Mason Drawing Award and received an Andre de Segonzac scholarship to study in Italy after graduating. 

 

Exhibitions include: National Portrait Gallery, R.A. Summer Exhibition, National Print Exhibition, Hunting Art Prizes, Lynn Painter-Stainers’ Prize exhibition, Pastel Society, Lessedra World Art Print Annual , New English Art Club, Museum of London, Westminster Cathedral, Salisbury Arts Centre, Chichester Open, Thornton Bevan Arts, Cadogan Contemporary Gallery, The Air Gallery,  New Grafton Gallery, Rona Gallery, Burlington Fine Art, Guildford Cathedral, Impress 09 National Printmaking Festival Stroud, Birmingham Botanical Gardens and Glasshouses and most recently the ING Discerning Eye Exhibition.

 

In 2011 she was elected a member of the FPS.

 

She is joint head of programme at City Lit
