Lynn Painter-Stainers Prize Exhibition

Kate Wilson's painting Hallway--Life Abundant'  has been selected for this annual exhibition, to be held 22nd November-2nd December 2006 at the Painters' Hall, 9, Little Trinity Lane, London.

Lithography and Woodcut

Simon Burder has been invited to show lithographs in a group exhibition at the Walk Gallery, King Edward Walk, London SE, 9th February--2nd March 2007.

Guildford Cathedral

Kate Wilson will be having a solo show in February 2007 at Guildford Cathedral. 

Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition 2006

Kate Wilson and Simon Burder both had work selected and hung in the Summer Exhibition, 'Night Light 1' and 'Walna Scar 4' respectively.

Monoprinting

A new book by Jackie Newell and Dee Whittington published by A & C Black includes illustrations of two of Simon Burder's monoprints, 'Wildness and Community' and 'Limekiln Harbour', both based on the landscape of the Pembrokeshire coast.

Lessedra World Art Print Annual Exhibition

Three of Simon Burder's new series of 'Walna Scar' lithographic monoprints were selected for this international show 7 June--27 September 2006, Sofia, Bulgaria.

Stone Lithography

An excellent book by Paul Croft, published by A & C Black, about the subject that is central to this website!  Included in the book are illustrations of lithographs by Simon Burder.  His second book Plate Lithography is also recommended reading.

Bürgermeister-Müller Museum

Click here to visit this museum in Solnhofen, Germany, the home town of Aloys Senefelder, who invented lithography, and the area where litho stones are quarried.  It is equally important for the fossil finds of Archaeopteryx.
